Alula

Alula is one of the most spectacular and historically significant regions in Saudi Arabia. It combines impressive natural landscapes with a rich history and unique experience. Some places of interest include Hegra (Unesco World Heritage Site) the most important archaeological site in Saudi Arabia; often referred to as the “Petra of Arabia”. The old town of Alula is very beautiful with its craft stores and restaurants, the Elephant Rock, a gigantic, naturally formed rock formation in the shape of an elephant and Maraya, the largest mirrored building in the world. The airport is probably one of the smallest you have ever seen.
